Miles
Realty is a division
of Miles Consolidated Companies, a family business, which started in
1958. Miles Realty, Miles Auto, Miles Tree
Farms and Scott’s Lawn & Landscaping (a third
generation business), are all located at 565 South Main Street in
Sparta. An off shoot of the family business is A/R Auction. Tom
Atwood & Allen Reinhardt are auctioneers, the upcoming auctions
are posted on this site under commercial / auctions.
The projects
of Miles Companies continue to bring residential & commercial
growth to the area. Projects include; Trojan Village Shopping
center, Trojan Bowl and other retail facilities, Rivers Edge,
Hickory Mountain, Walnut Ridge, Rolling Greens, Grandview Homes I
& II, Glade Creek Homes, The Joe Place and numerous scattered
lots that have since been built on. The consolidated companies have
added significant employment & jobs to our area as well as
greatly enhancing the tax base of Alleghany County.
